HELLO - IM SAM.

Welcome to my online photography portfolio and thanks for taking an interest in my work.

Originally from a small town on the edge of the New Forest, I have always had a keen interest in photography, videography, films, and all things camera related.

My passion for photography in particular has grown massively in the last few years since coming back from a 15 month trip travelling to South East Asia, Australia and India back in 2015. Now I try to spend as much of my free time as possible out taking photographs, exploring as much of the outdoors as I can, here in the UK and abroad.

Photography for me is the perfect mix of art, technology and the world around us. It allows us to explore the outdoors, tell stories, utilise amazing equipment and express ourselves artistically, which is why I fell in love with it.
For me, all things that happen naturally is what inspires me to continue to take photographs- so I like to focus on landscapes, wildlife and people. But of course I am always still learning and growing as a photographer so who knows where my photography journey will take me!
